Frequently Asked Questions
Electrical, assembly, shipping, warranty, and everyday use — answered.
Do I need an electrician?
Plug & play models run on a standard 120V outlet — no electrician. Standard models need a 240V GFCI circuit, like an electric dryer; any licensed electrician can set one up in an afternoon.
What surface does a hot tub need?
A level, load-bearing surface: a concrete pad, reinforced deck, or paver base. A filled 5-person spa can weigh 4,000+ lbs, so decks should be rated accordingly.
How much does it cost to run?
Most owners see $20–40/month on the power bill depending on climate, cover quality, and how hot you keep it. Full-foam insulation and a good cover matter more than the heater.
How do I keep the water clean?
A simple weekly routine: test strips, sanitizer, and a rinse of the filter. Our three-month chemical starter kit ships with everything you need to learn the rhythm.
How long does delivery take?
Most spas ship within 3–5 business days and arrive in 1–2 weeks depending on your region. Freight is free to the lower 48.
Can a hot tub go indoors?
Yes, with ventilation and drainage planned for humidity and splash. Most of our customers install outdoors on a patio or deck.
What's the difference between 120V and 240V?
120V plug & play models heat slower and share power between jets and heater. 240V models heat faster, run more jets simultaneously, and hold temperature better in winter.
